Bus Trip March 2010

On March 18th 2010 we held our first bus trip to "local" farms.  We focused on 7 farms in the west part of our service area.  Many thanks to our host farms:  Shaum Family Farm (Ross Shaum), deVor Dairy (thanks to herdsman Brad Stine and feed manager Dave Arndt), Starward Farms (Darwin Sneller & Wally Gremel), Lutzland Dairy (Darrin & Lorilee Lutz), Highland Dairy (Theo & Annemiek Poelma), Aquila Farms (John & Anija VerHaar), and Dekker Dairy (Rene Dekker).  Many thanks also to Patty Hornby, our very own resident photographer for the wonderful photographs.  Producers attending the trip put on plastic boots at each stop for bio-security reasons.
